“A fourth one of these is makin' its way to me. I'm lovin' 'em. These trees easily handle at least half their 1000 pound rated capacity--I'm not seeing how I would bump them up to the full grand, and I've got no reason to try. The caster wheels are holding up just fine--I suspect customers who have suffered caster failure didn't properly sandwich the extremely thick and heavy flat washers properly between the bottom of the frame rails and the top of the casters. (When in doubt, even I deign to read instructions and examine diagrams, which, incidentally, are easily downloaded from the Titan website.) A few of the weight plate tubes arrived baring a few scratches, possibly due to a rough transit; however, literally a few seconds and a can of flat black spray paint fixed those minor issues perfectly for all intents and purposes. Although I own a couple of Titan's 12-place Olympic barbell storage holders (that work great), it's still a handy additional feature that each weight plate tree also vertically supports a couple of Olympic bars standing on end, albeit the two receptacle holes might benefit from plastic protective rings to minimize marring the bars. (But, on the other hand, I personally view my barbells as tools and expect them to suffer minor "injuries" during use, just as I expect even my best mechnic's tools to suffer likewise. Those moaning about less than pristine barbells might kinda be weanies--sorry, sorta. After all, scars are sexy, although calluses aren't--wear gloves, she'll appreciate it.) Any further elaboration (while possibly entertaining, at least to myself) seems totally unnecessary at this point, as simply returning to the beginning of my rambling and noting how many of these things I've got workin' should more than make my opinion of them as plain as the nose on your face and sadly require no further elaboration.”
