“This rack is configurable as a tower or an A-frame, although I'm not sure why you wouldn't always assemble it as an A-frame because the width of the base is always a constant. I was looking for an A-frame that clearly supported and provided enough clearance for 35 LB rubber hex dumbbells, *which is the limit for some other frames I was shopping around for*. This is actually rated up to 50 LB per cradle!
Assembly requires a 19 mm wrench/deep socket and (2) 36 mm deep sockets and unfortunately the manual doesn't point this out. A 36 mm deep socket is required for the top bolt which is *huge* and is not easily accessible by a wrench. The positive to this is that it is very secure for heavy dumbbells. If you don't have (2) 36 mm sockets + ratchets and you're not loading it up near its 500 LB weight capacity, you could almost tighten the top bolt by hand which is what I did, but this is at your own risk.”
“At first glance, this appears to be a solid dumbbell rack. Shipping was fast, and the product was packed well enough that it arrived fully protected and undamaged, which I genuinely appreciated. The metal itself feels sturdy, and it is advertised to support up to 50 lb dumbbells, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Assembly, however, quickly revealed that this product assumes you own two 36mm sockets and a breaker bar — tools that are not mentioned anywhere in the instruction manual and are not commonly found in a normal household. Discovering this requirement mid-build was an interesting design choice. If your goal is functional fitness, this rack will train your grip strength, patience, and emotional endurance.
The bumper edges on each cradle detach easily, which adds a fun element of unpredictability when placing heavy weights on the rack. Although the frame can be configured vertically or in an A-frame, I was unable to tighten it enough to keep the A-frame configuration stable, making that option more of a suggestion than a feature.
The rack does technically hold dumbbells. It also manages to hold disappointment, inconvenience, and several unnecessary trips to the hardware store. If you enjoy surprise tool purchases and emotional damage, this is the rack for you. Otherwise, know that this rack doesn't just store my dumbbells, it stores my rage.”

“The assembly is a very poor design. There are limited instructions with only pictures. The design requires the installation of a 4.3 mm bolt that is not a normal size and cannot be easily installed with an adjustable crescent wrench due to limited space. I purchased a large ratchet wrench and crescent wrench and was not able to install the large bolt. I went to Home Depot and they also said this was a very poor design that the average person or even exprienced person would have the tools to complete the assembly. I communicated with Titan several times and all they could do was to say i had to use adjustable wrenches and a ;lot of force. I finally donated the unit when I gave up.”
“Sturdy and easy to assemble but you’ll need a 36mm to tighten the top bolts.
Titan is joining a growing list of brands offering “free shipping” and then tagging on bogus “shipping protection” charges. It is automatically added to your cart and you have to unselect it if you don’t want the protection. Note that in majority of cases this protection is not needed as the shipper is responsible for getting the items you paid for to you, and worst case most credit card companies will deal with the company on your behalf if you don’t receive your order. Feels like a class action waiting to happen. Back to Rogue for my future needs.”
“Very neatly and securely packaged. It took only 10-15 minutes to assemble this high quality, sturdy dumbbell rack. This rack is saving me so much floor space in my spare bedroom home gym.”
