Please Note: TwistLock Collars are designed for Olympic bars and will not fit 48mm axle sleeves found on some specialty bars and plate-loaded machines.

“these look cool and they work good on only 1 sized barbells. But if you are someone who uses multiple sized barbells at the gym they wont work on barbells that are slightly thinner.”

“Absolutely love this product. Magnet provides easy storage on your rack and these look great too. Twist lock is strong enough for your heavy lifts but you need two hands to prevent the collar from spinning when you tighten them.”

“I had previously bought the 3-Tier Dumbell Weight Rack, the Wall Mounted Bench Hanger, and the 5 sleeve vertical Barbell Storage Holder and was very happy with the purchases and love the products. However, my most recent purchase of the TwistLock Pro Barbell Collars was a huge disappointment. I basically wasted $70 because they do not keep the plates on the barbell when you drop the bar. Plastic clips keep them in place much better than these collars - seriously! I contacted customer service because I wanted to return them and was told that they "can't make a conclusive statement that the collars do not work - we only know that under the least optimal scenario possible they can slip" and that I needed to try them deadlifting with lots of plates loaded on the barbell. I was doing basic CrossFit movements, such as power cleans, snatches and jerks. So in summary I was told the collars only keep the plates on the barbell when deadlifting heavy loads. Why would I use collars that only work while deadlifting? They need to update their advertising of this product to specify deadlifts only because currently it states that they 'keep your plates locked in while you lift' and "these barbell collars fit snuggly on any Olympic barbell and provide the holding power you need during rigorous workouts." They definitely did not hold during my lifts or 'rigorous workout' beause I had to keep pushing them back in place during the workout.”

“The twist lock Pros are a great set of collars. Their unique design makes them very easy to use and store. They’re magnetic so I can just stick them on the side of my rack when not in use. Bonus points, they also look very nice. Time will tell on how durable they are, but I have no worries at this time that they will last me for many years to come!”
