4.8 Rating 6 Reviews
Read Titan Fitness Reviews

Add this circus dumbbell to your strongman arsenal ASAP. This plate-loadable dumbbell is ideal for anyone looking to develop brute strength and stability and is available with 10" or 12" bell ends with a 2", 2.5", or 3" handle diameter for building serious grip strength. Designed with over-sized bell ends and an extra-long 30.2" length, it engages stabilizer muscles for a challenging workout that mimics real-world functional movements found in strongman competitions. This dumbbell has 10.75" of loadable sleeve length and fits Olympic weight plates 10" in diameter and under with weight retainers to securely hold plates in place.
NOTE: We DO NOT recommend dropping these circus dumbbells from overhead as it might cause the bell to warp and become misshapen!

I am a strongman/powerlifter and I love Titan Fitness equipment. I have used a wide variety of top tier brands, such as Rogue, Cerberus, Elite Fts, etc. This circus dumbbell is built like an absolute tank! The only issue I have with it is, it will destroy your forearms because the handle has too short of a length. This is amplified with how sharp the edges are, but this problem is completely eliminated if you wear elbow sleeves. Most athletes will be wearing protection when they are lifting this implement, So thats why I don't think it should deter you from purchasing this product.

Being the smallest circus DB that Titan offers, this thing is still an absolute behemoth. I ended up taking it to a local metal fabrication shop to reduce the overall length by about 7" and take the weight down to 61# empty. It is now a much more manageable size for women and still able to accommodate plenty of added weight. It would be stellar if in the future Titan could offer something more appropriate for smaller women. Agree with other posts regarding the included collars. I simply use other collars I have on hand. Unfortunately the threading on the ends was lost in the trimming process, so the safeties are no longer usable. We have noticed some warping/bending near where the handle and bells meet. We use a pile of old dog beds to drop this on which has mostly alleviated that issue, and have been able to use an automotive jack to bend it back to something close to straight.

Ordered on Sunday received on Wednesday shipping is super fast and dumbbell is good quality heavy gauge steel. I would highly recommend for the price.

Summary: Overall, I highly recommend this dumbbell. This thing is massive and is very heavy duty. The steel is thick and the welds seem pretty good. Pros: 1. The price can't be beat. For $130 with tax and shipping the Titan dumbbell is about 1/2 the price of any other circus dumbbell I could find. 2. The steel is very thick (7/32") and I have no worries about it warping from dropping. I was worried because I had read that the 12" Circus dumbbells had very thin steel around the bells. This may be true for the 12" but I can attest that the 10" does not have that problem. 3. The dumbbells have a secondary safety which consists of a bolt with a large washer which screws into the end of the plate loading sleeve. It is not as secure as a full cap, but it is better than nothing. Since the pipe is already tapped for a screw it would certainly be possible to have full size end caps laser cut to fit. Cons: 1. The handle is very short and the body of the bell will make contact with your wrist. I have heard this is not uncommon for circus dumbbells, but I did have to wrap my wrist wraps lower than normal to avoid bruising my wrists. 2. The shipping was fast, but the packaging was pretty bad. The 77lb dumbbell was just sent in a normal thickness cardboard box with no additional padding. It arrived pretty banged up and there were some spots where the powder coating had been scratched. Almost all of my orders from Titan have arrived with some scratches so just keep that in mind when you order. 3. The included collars are pretty much garbage. They are very basic screw collars and I wouldn't trust them to hold the weights in place. On the plus side, my normal Rogue HG collars work just fine.

I received one as a gift. I'm new to strongman and I've never touched a circus dumbell before. The quality is pretty good. Except for the fact one of the clamps that came with it was missing the locking screw. Anyway, the 2" grip is massive, 10lb plates fit well, and it presses well after I got over the insecurity of not having my fingers all the way around the grip. Would recommend and it's a great price. Titan just needs to make sure everything is there when they pack it.
