Aluminum Olympic Technique Bar Reviews

4.8 Rating 42 Reviews
Read Titan Fitness Reviews

This Technique Training Barbell is ideal for young or old beginning lifters, male or female, allowing them to load Olympic-sized weight plates and train as you would on a full-weight barbell. Suitable for Olympic weightlifting, this 8 KG (18 LB) balanced bar supports a weight capacity of up to 65 LB. The bar is constructed from aluminum rather than heavy steel, so you can focus solely on your exercise technique, training your pass through, scotts press, deadlift positioning, and others. It features single knurl marks, no center knurling, a medium diamond textured knurling, shorter sleeves, and is coated in a chrome finish. With the reduced sleeve length, the overall weight stays low, helping the individual to practice safely while working up to training with a 20 KG barbell.

I use this bar for Javelin presses and it’s a perfect bar for what for I need it for! Would be great for a new athlete just learning movements too as it fits on the bar like a full size barbell.

Bought this bar so my 6 year-old son could do bench press on the power rack like daddy does, he starts with the empty bar to warm-up then adds 2.5 lb. plates to go up for each work set. I found it also works well for barbell curls while recovering from a biceps tendon injury where I can't use a lot of weight yet.
