This Technique Training Barbell is ideal for young or old beginning lifters, male or female, allowing them to load Olympic-sized weight plates and train as you would on a full-weight barbell. Suitable for Olympic weightlifting, this 15 KG balanced bar supports a weight capacity of up to 500 LB and provides 21,145 PSI tensile strength. The bar is constructed from precision-grade steel fully coated in a shiny hard chrome finish. It features a single knurl mark, no center knurling, a medium diamond textured knurling, and shorter sleeves. With the reduced sleeve length, the overall weight stays low, helping the individual to practice safely while working up to training with a 20 KG barbell.

“Although this is marketed as a training barbell for beginners, I purchased this for a different reason. My basement home gym has limited space and loading/using a standard barbell was tricky. This 15kg barbell isn’t fancy, but does what it is supposed to do while minimizing my setup time. For those of us who are lifting first thing before heading to the office know how valuable every second is!”

“The quality of this bar is fantastic. I purchased this bar becuase the 7 foot long olympic bar would not fit well in my garage gym set up.
