Loadable Mace Hammer Reviews

Shake up your old routine and reap the rewards of explosive strength training and functional fitness movements with this all-steel macebell. An ergonomic round steel head allows for smooth swings and ensures your workout mace won't twist or turn mid-movement. And forget buying multiple maces as you grow stronger. With an empty weight of 15 LB, this mace weight is loadable up to 40 LB with a fill hole 1" in diameter. Load it with steel, lead shot, or sand to increase resistance. Because it's adjustable, this macebell is accessible to any athlete and can be made heavier to keep up with your gains. A sturdy 2" in diameter handle creates an asymmetrical weight load. This means you can adjust the difficulty level of your workout by adjusting your grip. Move your hands closer to the head for an easier workout, then move them farther for more of a challenge. Constructed with a fully welded steel handle and head, this one-piece design eliminates any chance of the head separating from the handle and is made to last, swing after swing.

I have numerous items from Titan Fitness with no complaints thus far, this being a minor exception. The mace is an excellent addition to my collection of workout ‘toys’ (tools) but I wish they would have applied a more durable coating or at least let it dry thoroughly before bagging it up and sending it to me !…. Yeah, you can clearly see where the ‘still wet’ coating ended up sticking to the bubble wrap in a few spots and where it appears they missed a few places, so it looks like I’m going to be redoing the sub par finish. Other than that I do really like and recommend purchasing one for yourself if you’re into these types of workout implements like I am.

This thing feels great but despite using lubricant, it is still impossible to tighten all the way down.

A great mace for the price. I have not even loaded the mace and i still get a pretty good workout from it. The 2" thick handle really gives your forearms a workout. The only thing i would change is moving the fill/empty plug closer to the handle.

Great shoulder and back workout. I added sand to it to increase the weight. Well made and I'm sure it will hold up over time.

If you're looking to kill shoulders and upper back, this is a great way to do it. Be mindful of the fact that this things has a 2' diameter handle. After 4 or 5 reps you'll be working out your grip strength and forearms as well. lol

I got this primarily to rehab my forearms; I thought I'd use the "Thor" hammer fully loaded with no room to eventually increase the load, so I hoped fully loading this would only allow me to use it chokes fairly close to the globe, probably around the "Thor's" 16 inches. Turns out, I won't be loading this for a while. I'm just under the pommel, can't swing it too far in any of four directions unloaded, and forcing it to stop at each end of its arc is something I'd never had to do with a half-loaded dumbbell. I've got no upper chest; 25lbs up and across the body seems silly until the 5th rep, 10 starts to make me cry -- I'm choked up half this mace's shaft and resting it against my forearm, cheating unabashedly and can actually feel it right under my clavical, as opposed to feeling it everywhere but my clavical with condensed weight. I will roughly never be able to do this move from the pommel, unloaded. I left a review for the globe barbell which didn't get published, but I think I got 15-20lbs of wet sand in each globe, having put synthetic oil in before, during and after; this is the same globe but with a powder coat vs a shiny enamel. I had to put another 75lbs in chains on the globe barbell to get a worthwhile overhead press from it, but again, I won't be worried about rusting out the inside of this globe with wet sand for a few decades. The "Thor" probably looks more impressive, but this thing is a challenge.
