Nice piece of equipment. Glad I bought it. My one improvement would be to make the openings a tad larger so you could add/deduct sandbags to easily change the weight rather than having to pour sand into it.

1. I immediately bought a second one because this is perfect for indoor farmers carrys. Despite what you think it has a low footprint making it easy to turn in tight spaces in your home. 2. One of my concerns before purchasing was if I was tall enough for farmers carrys. At 5.8 I was worried it may drag on the ground but Im able to clear the ground by a good couple inches. 3. Lastly this thing is SUBLIME for front loaded/bear hug style carries. Better than a sandbag or the normal husafell stone. Any kind of zercher style work is seamless with this. The edges are SMOOTH, I never thought zerchers could ever feel so comfortable, my biceps and forearms are very happy.

I was looking for a weighted carry I could do in my garage during the winter. This seemed to fit the bill as unlike the Titan wheelbarrow or full-size farmers, it has a small footprint. It came packed well enough (box intact, no damage). The husacross seems as heavy-duty as you would expect a 77-lb cast iron object to be. As per the previous reviewer, it is on the light side - even for an aging middleweight like me - but I went for several minutes on the bear hug carry and suitcase carry to compensate. The bear hug is more comfortable than a barbell in the crooks of the arm. And it makes a surprising good farmer handle as it has a nice thickish handle with a comfortable pick height. What I like about the set-up is there's no fussing with plates - just grab and go. I think if I can get it to 125-150 with steel shot, this would be just about right for me. I can see myself getting a second one some day too. Very pleased with it.

I bought this HUSACROSS with so much excitement! I thought immediately it is so ridiculously awesome, I couldn't wait to bring to our strong man work outs. I have found that the 77lbs unloaded is a great weight for pressing and doing over head squats but it was too light for carrying and doing zilker squats. I filled it with play sand and it fits almost 40lbs worth. I haven't weighed it but I estimate just over 100lbs. Love this thing. I store it on some car jack stands to ensure it doesn't fall over. It has become a conversation piece in my garage. I'm probably going to order another so farmers carriers will be in my future.
