The bar is exactly what ti is advertised for. It could be used for bent over row and hammer curls possibly. The quality and the way the bar is supposed to function is excellent. Titan Fitness also appears to be a first rate operation.

Seal rows and spider curls. I dedicated this bar to arm work but I do use it also for lunges and rows. So it's a "keeper".

It’s awkward and not easy to use. Description stated you could also curl with it which is why I bought it but it’s weird. Glad I didn’t pay a lot for it.

Price after sale and discount code was pretty good ($40 total). Unboxing was an unpleasant experience, as both the bar and the box were filled with a what seemed to be metal shavings and dirt. After I cleaned off all the dirt/grime and managed to shake most of the stuff out of the bar, assembly was fairly easy without physical instructions. One handle moves much less freely than the other, even in spite of lubrication and using a torque wrench to ensure symmetry. In use, the bar can be used comfortably for about all of 2 movements, and those 2 could be set up much quicker with dumbbells; everything else feels either awkward or painful in the wrists/forearms. The only reason I give 2 stars is because it only cost $40, but ultimately I’d rather have my $40.

The Tricep extension bar is the most useless equipment that I ever purchased. It is not functional at all. It was a total waste of money and I would not recommend anyone to buy this item. I would give the Tricep extension bar zero stars if I could.

This is heavy and awkward to use. Advertised as being able to use for bicep work. With the shape and weight, does not feel right when trying to do a bicep curl. Doesn't even feel right when using for triceps. If you plan to do skull crushers with any significant weight, you'll need a partner to help you position the bar.

This is a great but simple piece of gear. The pivoting handles make it easier on my wrist which is partially fused, allowing me to get good ROM and feel the effects of the exercise. Yes, there are other exercises that do not need this, but variety is key to avoiding boredom. Also, being a strength and conditioning coach allows me to use different equipment and exercises so that I can make recommendations to clients. The choice is your to make!
