We are happy with ours - acceptably built and can work as is, but needs some important customizing to meet what should be basic standards of entry. Issues as follows: 1. There is no built-in solution to feed cables between the two main 12RU rack spaces, which almost every use case of the rack will need. Feeding cables going out of the rack and back in as a permanent solution is not acceptable. Drilling 70mm or so holes into the rack yourself is easy enough - but it would be great to see them shipped with precut slots for cross-rack cabling. 2. 24" monitors simply are not big enough of a monitor for this set up, where at least one monitor will be used as a multivew in mose cases. The rack has enough space for two 27" monitors side by side - we had to custom drill these as well. 3. The support arms for the monitor lid are super flimsy and annoying to work with. It would be GREAT to see this ship with small gas struts installed to open the monitor lid instead. We have installed this in ours - gas struts are cheap and easy enough to install yourself. I get that the idea is you can angle the monitors with the original support arms, but lifting the weight of the lid with heavier montiors attatched (like SDI reference monitors) becomes annoying and difficult to get the pins in place on either end. 4. Our rack has already started to warp with the gear in it. The total weight of gear in the rack is 220kg and the frame has started to 'smile' noticably. We should still be able to fit the lids back into place, but we may have to add bracing to the bottom of the rack to support the frame from bending. 5. Pull out drawers really are only for keyboards and mice - not enough height to put much else in there. Just adding another 25mm of height would be enough to sqeeuze more in there (like vMix Replay controllers, Behringer X-Touch Surfaces, etc. 6. No built in way to run cabling from the 12RU space to the upper 4RU rack space. We will loom up cables per side of the rack and have the cable hanging out the back of the 4RU racks, and then dangle them into the 12RU slots, but it would be great to have a cable/mouse hole or shute running from the upper 4RU desk section to the 12RU section. Every use case of this rack will have cables running between the two. 7. Castors should all be locking. Easily lifted and replaced, but should ship with them all locking. Overall, for something you buy off the shelf, we're happy with the product. Some basic and pretty cheap additions/changes made before they ship would be well worth a slight increase in price.
