By George, I think they've got it this time! When I tried the original compression top, it didn't work for me at all--there wasn't as much compression as I wanted, but I knew it would be useless trying to size down because the underarm was already chafing and leaving red marks just trying it on. I sadly returned it. When I saw this one--with "adjustable straps at the shoulders so that you can...avoid the dreaded armpit chafe"--I thought that problem might be solved and tried again, a size down this time. At first I still wasn't sure about it. The underarm did still seem to be digging in, and the plastic adjustable hooks also dug into my collarbones when I moved. But when I left it on and wore it for hours, it all just worked. The underarm might have looked like it was digging in, but it didn't leave marks or become uncomfortable. The adjustable strap buckles didn't bother me after all. It's not quite as comfortable as sports bras I would fall asleep in, but it's great for wearing all day.

This is my first time using a binder, so I wasn't sure exactly how to get the right sizing. My breast circumference and my underboob are a little out of proportion, so I was worried a size that fit my ribs wouldn't offer enough compression. I chose a medium since the size guide suggested it should fit my ribs or be slightly large. Happily, the binder fits perfectly! I get exactly the amount of compression that I am more flat-chested in my clothes, and feel snug and supported. Also crucially for me, it's comfortable enough that I can wear it all day with little to no discomfort. As for the design, I'm really happy with the adjustable straps, and it's very comfy to wear. I was worried a high rise binder might irritate under my arms or at the seams, but this one is very soft and comfy. I'd strongly recommend this binder and urge anyone reading to measure themselves and try to make sure it fits before buying. Because having one that fits you perfectly is honestly life-changing.
