“I've recently applied the Greenland wax to my Fjallraven G1000 pants and jacket. It's a bit time consuming to do a whole garment but it really makes the material seem thicker- it becomes more wind resistant and more water resistant. Light showers are fine, then the material just dries off quickly. It kind of makes the material feel stiffer at first, but loosens up with movement. I used a hairdryer to melt the wax in and it melts in without staining or darkening the clothes. Really makes G1000 fabric more weatherproof. Wore my pants and jacket in 11 degree strong winds right in the coast this weekend and the jacket felt breathable but still felt protected. Fantastic for walking/trekking.”
