This looks to have been the right decision as it allows for layering in the cooler months but also avoids the jacket riding up when I cast.
I've not had to chance to test on the water or in the rain as yet but I'm always very happy with Patagonia products so can't imagine there'd be any reason for that to change from what I've seen if the jacket thus far. One further mention of how pleased I always am with the level of service I get from Chris and the team at Tom's - products arrive promptly, are priced well and, on the odd few occasions I've had to return to replace for other size etc the process has been managed well and is totally painless so thanks to all concerend!”
