“These flys catch fish! I always was taught match the hatch fish as natural as possible ect ect. I was fishing with a friend who was using these and was catching fish all day, I was fishing small natural flies and caught nothing... my friend is a much better fisher than i am though... I eventually cracked and asked hip for the bright orange hopper, to my surprise the fish smashed them! early season with no hopper activity... Susspends a heavy nymph no problem at all and so easy to see! a bloody ripper of a fly and now a go to in my box.”
