Thanks for leaving a review Tony! To season your board, use a food-safe mineral oil or board cream and saturate the board, then rub it in with a clean dish towel. The oil will soak in, and you can repeat this process if there are dry spots and any time the board starts to dry out.
“LIke everything snow peak, well made, great bit of kit. The magnet to hold the knife in is a nice touch. A great way to make sure you have both a decent knife and chopping board on hand. Recommended that you oil wood chopping boards, I picked up some gillys chopping board oil from bunnings, did a great job, just wipe on with a clean cotton cloth.”
“Great chopping board, but LOVE the knife! We use it at home when not camping. Super sharp & lightweight. We still bring with us to camp another chopping board as you have to hold the chopping board a certain way to prevent it folding back on itself - wish they had a latch to keep it in place. Need to regularly oil the wooden board as well as it comes raw.
You definitely are paying more for the knife than the board.”
