“I purchased a new sleeping mat from Tom's Outdooors (Tumut), after my trusty ThemaRest of 30+ year succumbed to old age. I had no idea that sleep matt technology had moved on so far in those years. The new matt is super comfy, quiet when sleeping with a sleeping bag and very warm. Chris explained the new technology gone into the mat. It is super light for a 4 season matt and very easy to inflate with the external air bladder that can be used as a dry-bag. 2x bags of air (from the dry-bag) and the mat is inflated, but that was too firm to sleep on. The one-way valve makes it super easy to deflate so that even "Goldilocks" would love it. When compressed back into the stuff sack it is super compact. I shall give it a try this season on the snow and am looking forward to warn nights.”
