“Very happy with my Hultafors Hultan Hatchet. While the edge hardness and fit and finish aren’t quite up to Gränsfors Bruk standards, they’re noticeably better than other brands in a similar price range, such as Helko Werk. The hatchet comes nicely packaged and the steel seems excellent. I accidentally dropped it edge-first onto another hatchet with barely any damage to the cutting edge. As always, Tom’s Outdoors were fantastic to deal with. Fast dispatch, excellent packaging and reliable delivery. I’ve made several purchases from them and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend both the hatchet and the store!”
“I bought this little hatchet to accompany me on back pack trips in the winter to keep my MIA Gear (NZ Made) titanium stove fed. When not in my back pack it is next to my Offset smoker BBQ to keep the fire stoked. A small yet practical hatchet that goes anywhere.”
