“Not worn in the bush yet but I did wear them at home all yesterday afternoon. After Chris’ video I was worried that they might be too stiff. Not so. I judge them to be more flexible than my Scarpa SL’s. Just about ideal for backpack camping is my judgement. Extremely well built with incredible attention to detail.”
“I bought a pair of these to be used for hunting. They were comfortable straight off the bat. I got them a half size larger because I like to wear thick socks . They are super easy to lace to the tightness I need, and the lace lock and tongue lock are a great idea. I did find the soles to be a tad slippery on wet rock. The soles are otherwise good and the last is stiff so scaling steep terrain is good. I treated them with the creme they came with prior to use and after a few days of on and off rain they didn't wet out too badly but my feet were totally dry. Great comfy boot out of the box, and you cannot say that about most shoes. Wide fit is a huge bonus for people like myself. Time will tell if longevity is something to sing about. Costly though. Big thank you to staff for keeping a couple of pairs on hold for me to try on on my way to my hunting destination.”
