“Having a dodgy shoulder, means I need an easier option to push the flies out further, and into wind etc. This sort of approach kind of blew my mind - easy pick up & single back cast, and it punches out 40 - 50 feet no dramas. It;s not subtle, and it does make some noise on the pick up, but the idea is to bring it in to the beginning on the shooting bit before you lift.
Anyway, I tried it on the flats just practising, and now (once the lock down is lifted) it;s off to the lakes. Next purchase will be some floating tips for this line and put some big dries out there...”
