“My hiking life was transformed when I bought one of the original pocket rockets. It would tuck into my pack and be brought out to boil water, melt snow or make a one-pot dish while hiking. When it wasn't doing that, it sat in the boot of my car for when I was spending the day out in the bush.
And now I have the new model. It seems to me to be even better - quicker boil times but still with great control of heat when needed. It also has the advantage of being even smaller to pack away than the original - not that having something the same size would be a deal breaker as the original was already small enough.
It icks all the boxes that you'd expect MSR to tick as well - quality, something very fit for purpose, and something that obviously comes from a long line of excellence.
