“Very solid cast iron. Quite heavy. Well designed with enough gaps for ash to fall thorugh and for airflow but not so much that you lose productive coals. Sits up quite high in the firpit (when compared to alternative products) which reduces the gap between the charcoal and food on the grill - we've had to adjust the type and quantity of charcoal to suit, but have found it works very well.”
