Tech Note 1: Gasket ThicknessThe New Process NP200, NP201, and NP205 series of cast iron, gear drive transfer cases were all designed to be used with cut paper gaskets of precise dimensions. For proper clearances, use original equipment thickness gaskets when working on your transfer case.
Tech Note 2: High QualityTK10604 is a high quality gasket, it does not need to be gooped up with sealant to make a leak-proof seal. If you wish to fill a gouge or use a sealant to hold the gasket in place during assembly, only apply a very thin film.
