Tech Note 1: Wheel Bolt vs Rotor Bolt 1984-1997 Ford Front Hubs on 4x4 Trucks equipped with Dual Rear Wheels use both Wheel and Rotor Bolts. QU20744 is the Wheel Bolt, which gets pressed into the outer hub flange. QU20594 is the Rotor to Hub Bolt, 8 of which retain the Brake Rotor to the Inner Hub Flange. The two types of bolts are completely different and are NOT interchangeable.
Tech Note 2: Clean Threads on Old BoltsBefore removing your old bolts, ALWAYS clean the exposed part of the bolt threads that protrude past the hub flange. Corroded or damaged threads will strip out the tapped holes in the hub when they are removed!
