Tech Note 1: U-Joint Specs QU40822 is a greaseable, internal c-clip retained, axle universal joint with a cup diameter of 1-1/16". The inside span between your axle shaft yoke ears should be 2-3/16". This greaseable u-joint is adequate for smaller 4x4s like Jeeps and Broncos with 4 or 6 cylinder engines, but I do not recommend it be used in larger trucks or high performance vehicles with V-8 engines due to the small physical size of 1310 series u-joints. I installed a set of these in my wife's 1978 6-cyl CJ-7 in the early 1980's. They are still in the Jeep which is now owned by our nephew. If installed in the right vehicle and with regular greasing, these greaseable axle u-joints may out last you.

They are not greaseable and I asked for them to be so also they guaranteed for a full refund as it was their mistake we were made to believe they were manufactured there and was tols they would fit , then when they didnt fit was told to grind down and then they would fit never heard of such a thing and when called back said they would refund the whole amount but I would have to pay for shipping back didnt think that was fair since it was there mistake but agreed the when they refunded they took a additional $100.00 with no explanation I emailed numerous times to this Jesse and also left messages to the gentleman that sold them to us with no explanation with no response thought this was a good company but I guess people could go back on there word and get away with it be very careful of this company they seem not to tell the truth Gave them several times to contact me
