Tech Note 1: Before Disassembling Before disassembling your hub dial assembly, turn the dial to the free position and matchmark the position of the cap and plastic parts. Remove the Warn or Ford decal from the dial, then remove the Phillips head screw. You can now separate the dial pieces. Discard the old O-ring, clean and LIGHTLY lubricate the internal parts. Reassemble and check operation.
