Tech Note 1: Before 2002Until around 2002, heavy-gauge QU40150 Ring was supplied in Warn® plastic and brass dial aftermarket replacement hub sets for the Dana 50/60/61 axles. At that time, the body was redesigned and QU56017 Spiral Retaining Ring replaced it. In most cases, the new Spiral Ring cannot be used with older hub bodies as there is insufficient clearance between the hub body shoulder and wheel hub to feed in the new ring. So if you have an older hub set, order QU40150.
