QU90046 1 Quart Valvoline Full Synthetic Transfer Case Fluid is the recommended transfer case oil replacement for XL-12 Motorcraft Oil for most 1980 to current Ford 4x4 trucks and truck based SUVs with Part-Time, AWD, or Torque on Demand transfer cases. Valvoline Transfer Case Fluid is for use in late model transfer cases that already require XL-12 plus those older transfer cases where Dexron® II, MERCON® or Mercon® II ATF was previously recommended. Valvoline® Transfer Case Fluid is a high-tech lubricant manufactured using man-made base oils and additives that are optimized to provide optimum lubrication for transfer case bearings, chains, and shafts.
*XL-12 Transfer Case Fluid has been discontinued by Motorcraft®. Use QU90046 Valvoline Transfer Case Fluid for a direct replacement.
