“I have no problem with the wing nut and washer. They arex excellent.
My problem is with the packaging. It was far too large, wasting jaterizls, causing an unnecessary amount of recycling. Did a small wing nut heed a large box full of plastic wrap? Surely Tower can do better than that!”
“In trying to prevent e-waste I bought this spare part - despite absurd postage costs for it (original lasted years of repeated use) it lasted a little under 2 months before shearing and im having to go through customer services to get a replacement. It’s an extremely cheap plastic part… I don’t know why it can’t be made of a different more robust material. Especially considering you can get similar metal products in a DIY shop for pennies.”
