“After having our last two bins from Dunelm (own brand) break within a month or two. We were sceptical, you can tell from the make that these are MUCH sturdier. I love how the liner if hidden IN the bin well so even if my kids replace the liners, it never shows, the soft close lids and the really sturdy pedals that lift us easily for mopping... its just so clever and well thought out. no weird nooks and crannies that are germ traps and hard to clean. Very happy. 100% recommend.”
“The exterior of the bin is a nice colour and looks great. However, the internal plastic compartments were a completely different type to what was advertised (should have been style with metal handles to lift out. Instead they are a different type with no metal handles and gaps in the side of the plastic for fingers). I contacted Tower services to flag up that what I had been sent wasn't what I thought I was buying, but recieved no response whatsoever). Also, the design of the bin means that each time the internal compartment has to be removed to change bin liner, it hits against the small piece of plastic that powers the foot pedal. This seems a design flaw as I can't see the small piece of plastic lasting multiple years given that it is whacked against every time I need to change to change the bin (My previous bin of similar design had a space between these parts so they weren't hitting each other.) Time will tell I guess, and Tower do offer a 10 year guarantee, but I don't fancy my chances of getting a response from Tower customer services if it breaks, given my experience thus far. If you like the look of this item, I'd suggest buying from a 3rd party retailer such as Dunelm instead of direct from Tower, as at least you'll get a response from Dunelm's customer service if you have any issues.”
“Good size nice and compact. Flat back so gives against the wall.Two 30 litre sections for recycling. Stylish Easy to open with foot pedal and self closing lids. Easy to rake inner bins out to empty. Not the cheapest of bins but you pay for what you get. Recommend”
