When my father passed 5 years ago we wanted to do something that might make a small difference and be a good way to honor his memory and found “Trees for a change”. We had a grove planted in his name and were happy when we got notice that his tress were helping to recover the Tahoe Basin after some devesting fires. To this day with the updates, we are able to see how the grove we had planted for him is doing and get to see they are thriving. I do believe his trees will even outlast me. On the 5th anniversary of his passing ( F cancer by the way ) we had another grove planted for him. He now has trees in Tahoe AND Sequoia National Forests and that feels really great. Not only this - but the whole, small and dedicated team at Trees for a Change are so kind, thoughtful and caring that I find myself checking the website to see how things are going. I’m sad that I have a reason to use them, but am so very grateful for the work they do.”
