My daughter passed at a very young age. I am so glad to see that this was available to bring life back to our land. She loved the earth, animals and life. Her birthday resides on Earth Day. Thank you All for helping re-build the beauty of America. I know she is smiling down on us All.

I LOVE Trees for a Change. They provide a special memorial for a lost loved one that keeps their memory alive and also makes it easy for family and friends to contribute at whatever level they are comfortable with giving. Thank you!

Well, the grove isn’t planted yet, the contribution period isn’t finished - hence the 4 star rather than a 5. This is a wonderful, lasting way to pay tribute to someone or something. Awesome that they accept PayPal - making contributors feel more secure with their transactions.

I heard about Trees For a Change from a friend who set up an account on behalf of a recently deceased former co-worker. We were looking for a way to honor our retiring exercise coach/instructor. This seemed so fitting and has been so well received by our group. We have over 100 trees "sponsored" and another week of contributions to go. I didn't completely understand the entire concept when we started - but we have come to embrace what it is. Because these trees are planted in a National Forest, it is public land and there are restrictions. What it isn't - a grove of marked trees specifically for the recipient (because of Federal lands). What it is - a claim to have sponsored some of the trees that are being planted in a fire-ravaged area to save the forests. It is such a worthy undertaking to have a hand in financially backing. I think our recipient will be very touched. And the customer service has been extremely responsive and helpful in getting us to our goal. All our questions have been answered and our tree count updated reasonably fast. I can't think of a better way to honor someone.
