“We bought a belt to recognize our League Champion for 2026 and years to come as will will pass it on each year. (We bought the heavy necklaces for our Champs last season) Our belt is named after an original league member going back to 1987 when we called in our lineup and kept score using a newspaper and a phone call. This was the first year ever that this original league member won the league. (39 season) Unfortunately he passed away in the middle of the season after drafting an incredible team. His brother and daughter finished the season for him. We are able to use the belt to honor him as we move forward to our 40th season and beyond. We also recognized two other original league members who passed away in recent years on the side plates of the belt. The belt looks awesome and the belt has a lot of meaning to our league.”
