“I’ve spent days waiting and anticipating this fruit. So what do I get? 2 gorgeous hard mangoes. 2 over ripe must-eat-today Haitian mangoes. Two 1/2 overripe avocados. 1 beautiful pineapple. Several ginger pieces. And 1 fragrant papaya with one end mushy. Seriously? I’m 1/2 happy. This cost too much for this. I’m about to contact customer service. This can’t be right.”
“I ordered a box of Mangos but received a box of fruit that was mostly rotten and squashed. All the bananas we completely squashed. The one avocado was squashed too. Only three squashed green mangos. Very disappointed”
“The mangos were not as pictured. I received 21 smallish predominately green mangos that, that more than a week after arrival have not completely ripened.
However, the box of avocados received were splendid.”
“I realize that this is a business. First, the quality of the product was great. The Mamey and large avocados are unique and delicious and I understand they’re expensive. But not $129 expensive! I got 6 items for 129. You factor in shipping and profit and it still seems a little steep. You clearly state 16 lbs so I can’t complain there. It sounds much more than reality. I guess I expected more for the price.”
“Some of our fruit arrived over ripe from shipping. What we did get was quite good but for the amount of fruit we got that was edible the box is quite expensive.”
“The shipping was fast. For the price I expect the fruit to be better than what I can find locally (dallas) unfortunately that wasn't the case. Maybe I just got a bad batch.”
“I got my order very quickly and the mangos LOOKED great with a sweet aroma. However, I have never experienced buying a box of 10-12 mangos that are ripe and soft to touch to NOT be sweet. Not even one. The mangos tasted like the ones from US grocery stores. Not getting any sweet mangos was disappointing. They do say, to only buy fruit when they’re in season and I probably should have.”
“Quick shipping and good packaging, but unfortunately some of the fruits had worms (the guavas and the dragon fruit) so I had to put them in the garbage :(. It’s Also its very pricey for the amount of fruits I got. Little disappointed.”
