“I just placed my second order of ground cherries (Gooseberries) from Tropical Fruit Box. I love the small, local varieties of ground cherries we have up north, but this tropical variety is a refreshing change from northern fruit and has a different flavor -- this is a citrusy, mango, tangy flavor that really "pops" in your mouth! I love eating these as a snack or adding them to my salads. I also cooked them with fish and ginger ... they are a really delicious, exotic snack and last a long time in the fridge. While they are not cheap, I am hoping to get my pink pineapple with this order. I am thrilled to have found this company and tropical fruits that you do not see in any northern grocery store. A great treat and a delicious luxury to help get me through this pandemic.”
