“At the moment all I can say is the delivery service was excellent we live in a cul de sac with limited access but the driver didnt see that as a problem he parked the lorry in a suitable place and drove our cabin on a forklift placing on our drive I have unpacked everything happy with what I see it will be a few weeks before we start building hopefully with no problems to enjoy the warmer weather”
“I am delighted, with my Jos cabin, had a bit of worries about the build, especially the roof shingles as I am no spring chicken but unfounded and enjoyed building the cabin, would recommend this product very highly, one slight complaint we were sent the wrong glazing bars for the door in the kit and having contacted Tuin by e-mail I am still waiting on the correct bars arriving.”
“I shopped around quite a bit for a log cabin and decided on Tuin based on the positive reviews and the fact that they were cheaper than other suppliers and did not appear to compromise on quality. I have not been disappointed. Its early days yet but the quality of the cabin seems to be very good and it looks great. Be aware though that the door if not secured with a cabin hook or similar when open, is vulnerable to damage if there are strong winds about. I opened the door to take some furniture in and a gust of wind blew the door back splitting the frame around the two door hinges. I contacted Tuin who suggested fixing a strip of wood on to the door to try and strengthen the split area around the hinges. I have done this so time will tell...I have also now fitted a cabin hook.”
“This cabin is very good quality. The wood is quite thick. We did not build it ourselves but we watched it being built and it appeared to fit together without any difficulty. The pictorial instructions were quite difficult to follow. They were also generic instructions, not specific to the Jos cabin so some techniques did not apply or were too vague. It looks really lovely now it is built. The only disadvantage of buying one that is made from untreated wood is the need to treat it straight away. I would definitely recommend Tuin as a company as they were very helpful, the delivery was excellent and the finished cabin is super.”
