“Tuin Bertil log summer house / gazebo After searching for a long time we finally settled with Tuin and the Bertil log cabin as the layout filled our needs perfect. I must say I am not disappointed with anything so far the delivery company were amazing managing to get the actual huge pallet very close to where we needed it, all with a smile on his face. (Thought I was going to have to cart it all 1 at a time) The cabin itself went together relatively easy. Squaring was quite difficult had to use the 3/4/5 method but all went well in the end. If you follow the plans properly everything works great and the free roof shingles well wow they finish it off lovely. The quality of the wood appears to be good and I never had any parts that wouldnt go together. Overall from start to finish a good experience and would definitely buy another if we moved.”
“I've been extremely impressed with Tuin from purchasing the product through to receiving the delivery. The quality of the product is excellent which makes it a worthy investment. Some of the beams were warped, however appreciate this is due to the product being made of natural resources which do bend and twist and certainly impacted by the hot weather in the UK of late. This is not a criticism but made the installation and build slightly challenging for some of the longer pieces. I cannot recommend highly enough the product and service. This is supported by the fact that my father, brother and friend have also bought Tuin cabins and it was our only choice as we'd seen just how good they are. A very happy customer!”

Deliver date agreed, communication with transport company superb and the actual product itself was better than I expected to be honest. The installation couldn't have gone better, although the instructions we not as detailed as I was expecting? The product being so well manufactured made it easy. “The service re issues during erection was prompt and professional. The build was generally self evident once I read all the drawings and understood them. My wife and I chose to use preservative and paint the timber before erection. This caused us some consternation as erecting the building is the fun bit and curbing our impatience to erect was a struggle. However we are pleased with the results and confident that the building is well protected and take all weathers in its stride. Some issues that we had :- 1. Header rails over the double door were miss measured by 40mm. The drawing measurements were1544 and the two pieces were 40 mm short. Rather than contact Tuin I bought some timber of similar section and fitted it. 2. The door handle spindle was too short. Tuin was great and sent me one of the right size by return. 3. We were short by around 150 nails to the roof boarding and around 100 tacks for the shingles. On the other hand we had some 3 packs of shingles spare that have now been used to smarten up an old shed roof! The building now looks great and it is a pleasure to sit in the spacious veranda section. The biggest part of the build was the base constructed around 300mm deep Type 1 subbase topped with slabs bedded on mortar. Slabs are to the exact measurement of the building with around 150mm of subbase extending beyond the limits of the slab. Gutters have been attached feeding 2 no 210 litre water butts. A timber floor to the cabin part and 12 volt lighting system using photocells will be fitted in due course. We have really enjoyed all the work and now intend to wallow in self satisfaction at a job well done that justifies the excellent product from Tuin”
