“Very good company to deal with. Only problem was two panes of glass broken on window fitting on delivery. What a pain, have eased out beading and will get two new ones cut from a glazier. Tuin offer a quality product at a reasonable price.”
“Ive had my cabin up for a few years now and very pleased with it. Its a solid piece of kit that your supplied. It goes up quite easy too. The only problem is the doors in my opinion, as the T hinges supplied are a bit rubbish and weve had numerous issues with them. The hinges should have been something much more solid for the price paid. Recently in strong winds Ive had my door hanging on by a thread. So Ive ordered some much more heavy duty ones and hope that fixes it. I would recommend this cabin and the company.”
“I would advise anyone to purchase towards the end of the year or you will be overpaying. Despite being advertised as a special sale price of 3600 and RRP of 4200. The same product is now being sold for 2661 yet RRP is 3273, less than 6 months later. The fluctuations in price is very frustrating and for that reason I cant recommend Tuin. Wood was also very roughly sawn so looks tatty, lots of splits and sappy leaks. Id go with Dunster House next time, more premium product. Delivery driver was great though, precision forklift skills. And out of hours support is very quick at replying.”
“Very pleased with product a few problems putting together but I'm not a carpenter and it was nothing a phone call didn't cure quickly excellent service and advice”
“Ordering and delivery was straightforwards. Driver of forklift had great skills to get it up our narrow driveway. Build going ok, hampered by rain and the most awful basic instructions. Out of hours help was very quick to respond. Overall thoughts are lots of timber with rough sawn ends which have splintered, which has made the ends look a bit tatty and some of the wall logs have bits missing where knots were. Main disappointment is the price dropping by 1000 since I bought it 3 months ago. I certainly wouldnt buy anything in the summer months. It did have a full price of 4500, on sale for 3600, but it is now selling for 2690 with full price at around the price I paid in a flash sale.”
“Delivery bang on time the driver went the extra mile to position the package exactly where required. The Stig looks great it has taken about a week to build paint and fit out with electrics but the basic build took two people about two days in total, the whole build was also hampered by rain. Once you have cut the base frame I would suggest that it is fixed to the base otherwise it moves around when you come to fit the first row of logs and constantly throws things out of square cannot express enough how important it is to be both square and level. Build instructions are at best basic but any questions are answered efficiently even my out of hours enquiry was answered within 15 minuets. All in all from order to finish Tuin have provided an excellent experience, a great looking cabin at a good price and quality second to none.”
“I recently bought the Stig log cabin and I am more than happy with my purchase. The product is exceptionally good value for money and I found similarly priced items elsewhere to be much smaller. In terms of assembly I decided to a local builder to do the work. Three men managed to finish the job in less than a day. The height of the cabin is 2.3 metres meaning planning permission is not necessary. I have a few other plans for the garden and will certainly be looking towards Tuin for my next purchase. I would highly recommend.”
“So pleased with my stig cabin Took 2 days to complete Service excellent kept me informed with updates on delivery Also I looks beautiful Only complaint was the instructions I feel could of been on a step by step As once I worked it out it went up in no time so tuin better set of instructions next time”
