“Makes a difference to the whiteness of my teeth and its so quick and easy to use. I have used dentists products before but they need to be left for 4 hours or overnight and uncomfortable to wear. None of that with these. I love all the Spotlight products but what really sets them apart is the outstanding customer service. You really feel like you are a valued customer and not taken for granted. Personally i am not bothered about the whitening pen so it would be great if i could just purchase the strips on their own.”

Thanks so much for your review Dara. Thanks for getting in touch with us. Spotlight uses the active ingredient hydrogen peroxide which is clinically proven to whiten teeth. Spotlight is also clinically proven. In saying this there are many factors that may contribute to the rate of whitening to your teeth. Avoid dark coloured foods such as curries, anything tomato-based and chocolate as these also promote staining to occur. We normally recommend avoiding dark coloured foods and liquids, especially during the whitening course.
The condition of enamel may also reduce the whitening process. If you have damage to your enamel, over time, dentine becomes exposed - which is yellow in colour. If you haven't visited your dentist in 6 months, you may have a build-up of plaque and tartar that stops the active ingredients in the strips from penetrating onto the enamel which will result in a less than ideal whitening treatment. Please ensure to see your dentist and hygienist regularly. Depending on the results a person wants to achieve, they may require a second course of the strips. I hope this information helps.
