“This is the best organic mattress i have owned. I have had 2 or 3 on different beds over the years. I love that you can alter the firmness on each side as i like a slightly softer mattress than my partner. When in bed you are not aware that they are separate because there is the top piece that covers both sides. It was very easy to assemble and it would be very easy to move to another bed or house. There was a delay in delivery to Edinburgh because of Queens jubilee , if you need it for a certain date I would allow a couple of days extra. 5 stars for quality.”

“Our story is that our old mattress gave up the ghost in lockdown and we tried various wool sprung and memory foam mattresses on trials. The sprung ones although wool weren't quite right, I rolled into my partner on a "firm" Hypnos. The memory foam ones (Emma and Simba) were hot and offgassed with a horrible smell for weeks and the Simba Hybid Pro began to have a permanent dip after a month. I felt like I was spending many a bleary eyed hour compulsively researching mattresses online. I eventually happened upon Una and everything changed.... We planned on buying a Delux mattress but the Essential mattress was available immediately in the Euro King size we needed (at the time a Delux was a 6 week wait) and we were pretty desperate for a new mattress so we bought the Essential, which is made up of a medium and a soft layer. We felt that the medium layer was doing more stability work with the base than providing a cushioning fullness and the overall sense for us was that it felt a bit hard/dead. We decided to go with our original plan of getting the Delux and so upgraded to add the extra hard layer (on the bottom for us) which meant the medium layer was released to do what we felt it was meant to do, which was to feel cushioning, alive and fulsome. The Delux totally rocks. It feels sumptuous and we love the vanilla kind of latex aroma. We love the subtle bounce of latex and the way it gives in to weight with gentle push back. It's also really cool to sleep on. We have it set up hard, medium, soft from bottom to top. It cushions shoulders and hips while still providing good support. We're used to firmer mattresses but I'm enjoying learning to sleep on my side and back rather than front. We haven't tried a firmer configuration yet as we're loving the existing set-up. We had a couple of starting issues; a damp smelling cover and a soft layer that hadn't totally uncompressed from vacuum packing. Nicole, Naomi and Anja were amazing, responsive, professional, flexible and kind in sending us replacements. Totally gorgeous and personal customer service. I felt like these issues might just be teething issues (it's also been a tough two years) and it felt worth it to persevere as I sensed from other reviews that they're really working hard to create a genuinely beautiful, organic, customisable product. I can honestly now say that we both sleep like a rock through the night and wake up feeling refreshed. Our old mattress and various trial mattresses made us feel old, stiff and arthritic and we were worrying that those feelings were a welcome message from middle age, as we both have lower back issues. Knowing that it's organic with no nasty chemicals is also important to us. Knowing it's configurable is great, as perhaps our needs will change in the future. Also knowing that when we move home the mattress can be packed up in 7 individual layers in manageable bags in the car is super useful. We absolutely love the mattress and we've both found ourselves sneaking to bed earlier than usual. Totally delighted. Thanks to everyone at Una for your ideas and passion!”
