“I have been on a very expensive quest to find jeans that will fit my new Mom-bod (little extra in the middle than before), and I have to nd whoever wrote the "Basically Perfection" review too. I started with the Seine and LOVED the comfy stretch, but was still uncomfortable in the waist. The Riviera is the holy grail of jeans for my fellow rectangle bodies! The waist does roll down a little if I slouch (unfortunately kind of my default), but stays in place perfectly with regular posture.... (BTW- I got the size 18, am 5'3, and waist about 44 inches, and fit is perfect right out of the bag)”
“These jeans are magic. They are easily my favorite pair of jeans, which is saying a lot. They are comfortable and the high waist is not constricting at all, they contour my shape and are cut with comfort and style. No need to worry about them riding down or needing readjusting when u stand up. The fabric is a medium weight high quality denim with STRETCH, they do not loose shape after multiple wears.
I much prefer the Riviera to the Seine. The waist band of the Riviera is wider(aprox 1.5 inches vs 1 inch of Seine) and more elastic. The Riviera cut is much more flattering on my body type(larger hips, smaller waist). Highly recommended!”
“If you have the big butt/smaller waist combo, RUN, do not walk to get these jeans!! These are awesome! There's elastic in the thick waistband but it's totally not obvious. Other awesome features stretchy comfortable material AND full-sized pockets!! (rare in jeans for women). My only concern is that the stretchy material will stretch out too much (which happened in my Seine style). But these feel slightly thicker, so maybe they won't! So glad I discovered this company!”

The waist is a bit more snug than my other US jeans, but these have quickly turned out to be a favorite. I don´t need a belt at all, and the length is perfect.
