“These jeans are a thick but soft pair of denim. I LOVE that there is no unflattering whiskering, and I love the wide and comfortable waistband. I am 5'4" with a waist-hip measurement of 31"-41" and the size 10 with a 8" inseam is a perfect fit and length. I've always struggled with the waist gaping in the back when the hips and thighs fit well or with the jeans just being too tight across the thighs to create a pulling or stretched effect across the crotch. I also, though, never liked high-waisted and tended to opt for mid-waisted jeans in general, because they typically would cut into my waist when I sat. I've tried the Seine too and I like them as well, but they tend to slip down my legs even with the waist appearing to fit. The Riviera jeans are so soft and fit SO comfortably across the waist!”

Had high expectations that theses would be a great addition to my wardrobe, but they were so small they would not even come close to buttoning even after ordering my usual jean size. Expected much more flexibility/ stretch than that and do not wish to order up by two or three sizes just to get them to close.”

“I purchased a size 40 jeans in another style of US jeans. The waist was too big but the leg room was just right so I kept them and got the waist and butt area taken in. They fit better now. I sized down to 38 in the Riviera jeans hoping I found the pair. Nope. The waist was a tad big with a long crotch. I got the waist taken in and thought I could pull them up to help the crotch area look normal. Nope! Now they're folded up in my closet. I will take them back to the seamstress to see if she can shorten the crotch, not sure. Finding the right jeans is exhausting.”
