This is a fantastic cartridge. Even though it is still breaking in, it sounds full and detailed. It has plenty of bass, the stereo separation is spot on, but the treble can come in a little hot. You have to make sure you set your phono amplifier to a higher capacitance (150 - 300pf according to the instructions), and that seems to balance out the treble. I am using this cartrige with a Technics 1200 mk7L turntable and a Schiit Mani 2 phono amplifier. The sound that I am getting from this combination is literally music to my ears. Also, the service level from Upscale Audio is top notch. Ordering was super easy, and my cartridge arrived at my house in about 3 days well packaged to avoid damage. I highly recommend both Upscale Audio, and the Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge!

The Ortofon 2M Bronze has about 10 hours on it now, and it's starting to smooth out. Highs and vocals were a little harsh in the beginning , but they are getting smoother. Nice deep echo trails, and some front to back depth. Bass hits hard when it is reproduced on the LP. It is starting to sound good. I am enjoying listening to my LP's with it.
