“Eversolo DMP 8: Have this enjoyed this product despite not being able to figure out many of its features. Granted, this is from a complete lack of trying. The DAC and Streamer section works flawlessly from my limited point of view. I pretty much use the DAC section with a CD Transport 99% of the time. It seems with my CD transport the optical input slightly edges out the coaxial, but still hard to say which would be best. As of yet I have not been able to add Tidal Connect and am still using the Eversolo Application with Tidal which I find to work differently from my normal Tidal Application on my phone or tablet. (By differently, I mean horribly in comparison.) Granted I am both a self-declared "Barbarian" and "Both of the Characters in the Muppet's Balcony!" We shall see, once my more tech savvy friend arrives back in town, if we can manage to more effectively use the other features of this product. The packaging of the Eversolo DMP 8 was amazing. I made a video and took pictures for friends. Just WOW! I chose at the advise of Bill from Upscale to employee my PS Audio Pre Amp over the Eversolo , and agree a stand along preamp makes the most since for me. Despite my tech challenged brain, I am able to stream from my tablet with high resolution files in Tidal that sound amazing! If I pick individual albums and play them through the Eversolo it is jaw dropping in comparison to using just the phone of tablet along or with an inexpensive DAC. Is it as good as a CD or an Album? We have compared CD's directly with Streams of Music back-to-back running the CDs through a transport into the Eversolo. The CD's win every time. This product has me wanting to play my CD's more than ever! That is the DAC! I am streaming about the same, but enjoying the sound quality significantly more! It is worth the investment! Most of you will find it even more satisfying as you likely have more technical aptitude than I do. Give it a try! Upscale Audio gives you a 30-day trial! I bet you keep it!”
