“I run this cable from an AppleTV Box into an OPPO blu-ray player (which goes into my processor) for streaming audio/video content, most notably Netflix. It replaced an Audioquest Thunderbird 48, which in its own right is a very good hdmi, but in my system the Firebird is more lively, energetic and dynamic. It helps produce a very clear, articulate and strong sound. The video is also improved with a projected picture that is deeply colorful and clear, and that pops off the screen…with the Thunderbird I ran my Epson projector on medium lamp power but with the Firebird I run it on ECO and the picture approaches that of the Thunderbird on Medium lamp power. Couldn’t be happier.”
