May as well update the wall outlet if your using conditioners and good power cables.

I have 3 systems in my house. Painstakingly assembled throughout the years. But for...power outlets. Finally addressed that. NRG Edison's head up each one either into a Panamax, AudioQuest or Rotel power conditioner. Ancillary equipment too far away get Cardas 4181US, Pangea XL or Monsaudio Golds. NRG's have the best build of all, come with everything unlike the others. Clean, clear comes to mind, like finding that last piece of the puzzle allowing all the hard work to pay off!

The 2 biggest differences Ive experienced in all the money spent. Is going from solid state amp to a primaluna dialogue tube amp and the 2nd was the audioquest NRG Edison wall outlet. And when it comes to interconnect cables and speaker cables I go with good quality like audioquest waters and Rocket 88s. Yes there was a difference when I upgraded. But not like the primaluna and the NRG Edisons.

This product is worth the money. Initially I thought it would only be worth it if you already had upgraded other critical components, but that's just not so. Honestly, I purchased this ONLY because I had upgraded power cords and was happy with the result. For 185 dollars, it seemed worth while to find out for myself if this was snake oil BS or if this too could add improvement. I've lost the stomach for reading through forums where the debate over cords, cables, and outlets turns into a virtual cage match. There's more important places to spend my time, and to place my rage than on these forum threads. So I cut to the chase, purchased a 15amp version, and installed it within 4 days of placing my order. The change was modest and immediate. No burn in period needed to hear the difference. There was a marked increase of resolution in my system. Music sounded cleaner, but in no way sterile or bright. I think of it as going from 1080p to 4k, if you will. My amplifier is a SET, and pulls a considerable amount of current at all times, as all class A amplifiers do. I believe that providing it with the best possible power supply apurtenances is critical, and the results sing for themselves. I rate this at 4 stars. It's a 5 star performer, but the value of the item could be better. It is not 185 dollars worth of product. No matter how happy I am with it. That being said, if it didn't think it improved anything at all, maybe it would have been worth the 185 dollars just to avoid the forum fights and find out the truth for myself.
