“I was running much older AQ Indigo Hyperlitz solid copper cables on a pair of Wharfedale Evo 4.4 towers. Those cables compared to zip cable added bloom and opened the sound stage considerably while smoothing out the top end and anchoring the low end. THE ROCKET 33 cables are an incredible upgrade! It’s as if a veil has been lifted. Now there is this deliciously palpable space between each instrument, especially on live recordings. There is this tremendous depth to the soundstage and acoustics are immediately discernible. This is likely due to the removal of noise; the sonic character of each instrument is finely etched in greater detail. While never previously harsh, these cables seem to soften brighter edges but also add clarity and definition. There is now added weight to the low end that is never boomy or emphasized; simply more defined and rounded. Greater detail in the midrange adds transitional clarity from the upper range into the lower midrange. In short, if you’re shopping around for speaker cables, The Rocket 33 are superb!”
