I just hooked up my new Arcam SA10 amp to a pair of KEF bookshelf speakers with a KEF subwoofer. Wow. Adjectives: detailed, ethereal, fast, deep, clean, and well-built. If you're looking for an entry level audiophile integrated amplifier you can't miss with the Arcam SA10. You just may find that this is all you'll ever need at any level.

I contacted Upscale Audio to see what would pair well with my Focal Aria 926 speakers and was directed towards the Arcam SA10. It sounds great with them and I am very happy with it and the service I received. I will be a repeat customer. Thanks again

Lots of good things to mention about this integrated amp. I'll just say that the internal DAC is excellent for the price.

Once I got the right speakers connected, wow. I'm used to an integrated amp that has tone control. That works for me as I can slope my signal depending on what speakers I have hooked up and where. Mark it up to not paying attention. When I hooked up my Arcam SA10, I realized anything coming out was going to be flat. As in no tone control. I had some old bookshelf Mirages connected. Shallow, weak. Then some KEFs. Too bright. Then some JBLs. Just right. Though I think now it's time to get some new speakers to see where things go. I've been an audiophile since the 70's. Not like Kevin, not in the biz, but certainly an avid practitioner. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars to get good sound. I have three active systems now. One outside (garage), one at home, one at my condo. My phono is home with my vinyl, as is the Arcam. I have an old Kenwood and an old Harmon Kardon, that are awesome. But they broke. Hence the Arcam SA10. Near the high end of anything I've purchased. Over the years. Things have changed. ... After 20 some odd hours of listening... the signal from the SA10 is as fast as anything I've heard, from Beethoven to Hendricks. Some Stevie Ray in there too. Along with Mr. Davis. And some Stan Getz. May I say it again? Quick. I asked Upscale about what I could expect from the Arcam and another integrated amp in the same price range. Sean helped me better understand what soundscape I could expect. I like bright, quick, but it has to have a clean bottom end. This unit delivers. However, be aware. Your speakers will define your aural space. This unit drives flat. Out. A good thing. You won't go wrong. Get one if you need it. As has been posted on the web outside this space. Don't chase the upgrade (I think I need new speakers). If you have equipment in reserve, hook it up. How does it sound? Good? Use it. My JBLs are breathing just fine. Turn it up!

I won't mention the make/model of my other $4,000 tube amp, but if I had heard this one first, I'd own two of these Arcams. At this price point, I have never heard an amp sound so natural, so clean and easy to use. Wonderful amp, and I'm grateful for the recommendation.
