“I did quite a bit of detailed reading and listening in coming up with a few cartridges that made my semi-final list. Also read the obligatory reviews from the industry trades and talked to a number of sales personnel from a few of the bigger on-line merchants. I then spent time with Kat on the phone and knew that I had a great resource to help me narrow down my search. She knows her audio and helped me tie together all of the various aspects that I felt were important. We went with my first AT cartridge and I couldn't be more pleased. The ART-9xi is still fairly new but the differences are impressive in the overall sound stage and detail I am picking up in the music. In the scheme of MC carts this is one you should definitely take a look and listen to.”

“For the short amount of time I have been able to sit and listen to this cartridge I can say it is phenomenal. Great detail retrieval, quiet in the groove and no glare in the upper registers. I am a big fan of AT cartridges. I think you get a lot of value for the cost. I am sure as more hours are put on this, it will open up even more. Thank you Kat!”

“I recently upgraded my turntable from Pro-Ject 2 experience sb, with AT33 sa , to Clearaudio concept with satisfy tonearm. I went to the next level with the AT ART 9xi. For me the price difference was substantial, but was very pleased with the detail and clarity of this cartridge. I was able to hear vocals , drums , acoustic guitars considerably better.”
