“It’s way too expensive which has nothing to do with upscale of course. Those bottles of cleaner fluid additive ought to cost $5 not $20. Just saying.”

“The Refresher kit is fine but each time I have to replace it it I honestly regret buying the AudioDesk. Since the fluid must be replaced every 30 days, the expense to clean records (and it conitunes to increase) is not very practical. Add the recurring expense of cleaning fluid and replacement parts to the $4k cost of the machine and over time, you wind up paying a whole lot more for this machine. Next time, I buy something else.”

“This kit is probably the best way to keep your Audio Desk Cleaner in tip-top shape. My rollers had definitely seen better days and I needed to change out the water. Oddly enough , the machine ran quieter and the pinch rollers released the record more consistently after changing the water and detergent so I suspect the cleaning solution has some liberating properties. The only downside is the cost. The kit does save money over buying the parts individually, but it’s still a crazy amount of money for what it is.”
