“All of you, Jake, Chris, Bill… honestly I forgot half of your names but you all did a great job making things right. One thing you can’t do is make the Auralic Aries G1.1 a great streamer. It did work well in my systems. I tried. It is possible that the one I received is defective but it also has some design flaws that can’t be corrected. Why have a screen if you can’t read it farther than 12” away? Thank you all. I’ll be calling the first part of the week.”

“I'm enjoying this streamer. Definitely a nice step up from from my Bluesound Node 2i with a power supply upgrade. The Bluesound is a great streamer but the G1.1 takes advantage of recent resolution improvements in my system. A larger soundstage with precise placement of musicians was the first thing noticed. I was frankly surprised it was such a nice improvement. The app is very user-friendly.”

“Significant overall improvement in SQ over prior streamer (node 2i). Much faster response time and improved UI using the Lightning DS application (Quboz). Adjustable track start delay resolved prior issue of track beginnings being cutoff by DAC lock speed when sample rates change. AES output a plus for external DAC connection (have not used USB).”

“I am using the Aries G1.1 as a bridge between my PC-based Roon set up and my C2700 McIntosh pre amp using the USB output. Connected to the ethernet it works flawlessly.”

“I am floored by this piece. I’m a die-hard vinyl guy but this Aries G1.1 is outstanding. I’m running to my DAC with an AES cable and it simply sounds awesome. Whether I’m streaming my Qobuz or through my library via external HD, it’s pretty remarkable. I even ditched Roon (with 9 months to go before expiration) because I’m digging their Lightning DS software. I’m not even hard wired and the sound is still ridiculous. Don’t hesitate. Get this streamer. I upgraded from the Bluesound Node and it’s literally night and day. And the Upscale customer support (Chris Landfield) is top notch, as always. I’m a very happy customer.”
